According to our local TV station, Upstate New York is indeed part of Appalachia. Excuse us for not knowing, we really did not know that we are Appalachian-Americans. Now that we know, we will embrace the situation and live up to our grand heritage. Why didn't somebody tell us earlier? What were you waiting for - hunting season?
